Dhammadicca Meditation Centre

Dhammadicca is the second meditation center to be established by the Japan Vipassana Association and means Sun of Dhamma.

Located not far from Mobara town (20mins), Chiba prefecture, Dhammadicca is easily reached from central Tokyo on the JR Sotobou line (90mins).

Covering an area of 4,000 tsubo (ca.13,000m²) and protected by hills on three sides, the centre is quietly secluded and offers an ideal environment for meditation.

The centre is not yet fully operational due to the limited facilities available. Courses are currently limited to 1-day and 3-days for old students only and we expect to be able to offer places for new students on 10-day courses in the near future.
